As we prepare to document the findings to send to the Mayor of London and Greater London Authority, this event will inform the conversation about a utopian vision for the city’s diverse queer nightlife.
- Which nightlife spaces are important to London’s LGBTQI communities and why?
- What does the profile of London’s LGBTQI nightlife look like over the past 30 years?
- What are the successes and, where venues have closed, why is this?
- What can be done to support LGBTQI nightlife and venues in the future?
Bird la Bird (artist), Dan Beaumont (Dalston Superstore), DJ Ritu (Club Kali), Lyall Hakaraia (Vogue Fabrics Dalston) will all tell us a story about the making of London’s nightlife, facilitated by Dr Sharon Husbands.
